This seminar explores how mental health disorders manifest and how they can be understood and addressed through the integration of psychological principles and biblical teachings. We will examine how the Bible presents disorder and the transformative ways Jesus fulfills and strengthens the concept of healing, woven into the very fabric of our humanity from creation to Revelation.
Topics include anxiety and attachment styles, generational trauma, narrative healing, faith as an active process, and the importance of surrender. We will also consider how sin introduces disorder, while true healing restores order through both spiritual and psychological renewal. By the end of the course, students will gain practical tools to navigate personal and communal struggles, integrate faith with mental health practices, and move toward healing and transformation.
